She was talking about ‘society.’ She was blaming everything on ‘society.’ I said she was talking mostly bullshit. I said blaming everything on society was like hiding behind the couch and shouting at the television. I asked her what ‘society’ was. She said it was everyone. She said that everyone was a part of society. I asked her if she also took the blame when she blamed society. She said it didn’t work that way. She said that, yes, she was a part of society, but no, she didn’t think the same way as society. I asked her in what way did society think. She said I was confusing the issue. Diane M. Greenway
